History Research interns compile educational resources such as blog posts, books, and lesson plans to increase public awareness about forgotten atrocities of WWII. They delve deep into Pacific War history by examining declassified documents and cross-referencing with already-public information. We have teams this summer researching into Unit 731, Japanese military crimes, and more.

Archivist interns collect, examine, and process primary documents to develop PAE's print & digital archive in accordance with department & national standards. These diligent few organize collections, analyze material for blog posts, manage databases, and conduct research to make the Pacific Theater of WWII public history!

This summer's Digital Marketing interns assist with PAE's entire online platform. This includes (but is not limited to) managing the website, designing graphics, and leading marketing campaigns for books, podcasts & lesson plans. If you receive our monthly newsletters, that's the work of one of these interns!
