We are currently working on distributing our books in bookstores in major metropolitan cities. Having our books on a physical shelf in an independent bookstore can spark conversation, increase curiosity, and awareness of our cause. Even the process of getting the books onto the shelves sparks a lot of enlightening conversations as most bookstore owners are unaware of the issues from the Pacific Asia War besides the Rape of Nanking. 

Here are the cities we wish to target with our campaign: 

• SF Bay Area
• Los Angeles
• Seattle
• New York City
• Chicago
• Philadelphia
• Portland
• Phoenix 
• Houston

Since most independent bookstores are locally owned small businesses, they require a consignment form and we need your help! It costs $336.40 to enter a bookstore as each store can only reimburse us for the books they are able to sell. If we want to enter 5 stores in a region, we would need $15,138 as an upfront startup cost. As the money comes back from the sale, we will use that fund to enter more bookstores.
